With more than two decades of history, Loto del Sur offers a complete range of natural products made with Latin American flora. “Latin Americans, according to founder and director Johana Sanint, are obliged to discover what we have in order to create valuable projects that will be appreciated beyond our borders. Johana Sanint wanted to build a brand around biodiversity, the flagship of wealth in Colombia,” preserving nature and national ancestral knowledge.
Trained in architecture, this Bogota native inherited her love of fragrances and travel memories from her Dutch great-grandfather, a great-grandfather who was a perfumer.

Loto del Sur is committed to plant research and knowledge of indigenous communities. “The main goal of Loto del Sur is to turn the everyday into something extraordinary. There is great richness in turning everyday actions such as bathing into ritual and special moments. Perfusing yourself should not be something mechanical, but something sacred,” explains Johana Sanint, an advocate of ‘conscious cosmetics’ and working on proposals that are ‘as sustainable’ as possible.
